 Another year has passed since the last Couples National Convention (CNC), which was changed to Couples International Convention, for it’s not only the brethren in the Philippines who can join this event but the brethren, couples around the globe. This is the much awaited exclusive affair of the year for husbands and wives to gather themselves for a whole day event in the church. This is the counterpart for single members or KKTK (Kabataan) in the church which is known as International Youth Convention (IYC).
A day of fun filled, educational and spiritual event that includes 1st on the list is the song of praises for God led by the married choir members of MMC and NC (National Choir), and followed by a prayer by Bro. Glenn Labung. And after that is the consultation to Bro. Eli about different problems encountered by attending couples. Only couples who are already married or will be marrying on that day are allowed to listen to the consultation. One of the serious and common problem tackled was, how the wives will follow or submit to her husband? Bro. Eli responded by saying that a wife should follow or submit to her husband in everything.
"Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives are to their own husbands in everything." – Ephesians 5:24

which have 7,000 plus participants. The starting line is at the grounds of Fort Bonifacio then a turn around in Gil Puyat Makati, Buendia back to the Fort. Willy only conquered the Condura Negosyo Ref. 10km run having a time of thirty two minutes. and twenty one seconds. This is Tanui's 3rd Open Race win in the Philippines. And he is just starting up since he is looking for some more information about other Marathon Races he can join here in the Philippines.

The "Isang Araw Lang: TAKBO para sa libreng Kolehiyo" (Just One Day: RUN for free College Education), a project by Mr. Public Service: Kuya Daniel Razon
for the benefit of college building in Caloocan, Metro Manila, Philippines that will start this coming June 2010 (registration is on-going) and in Barangay Sampaloc, Apalit, Pampanga, Philippines that has already started last June 2008. The proceeds of this project is for the free tuition and other school fees, free uniforms, free books, free student boarding, free meals, and a lot more to the beneficiaries of this event. Courses available for the free education are BS Nursing and AB Mass Comm. and to beat the Guinness Book of World record.When I first heard that there will be a marathon for a cause last November 2009. I immediately set the date, so that me and my whole family can join it. While doing IT works @ SABRAS Training temporarily last November, and while looking for work in a call center industry, one of my friends there ask me to join the team to bid for the T-Shirt and printing of the said event. In mid-December still looking for a way for us to win the bid, searching for some more materials, etc. And at the same time looking for a way for us all to join in and pay for the registration since the announcement for the actual date was on 1st week of January 2010 then January 17, 2010. Alas December is nearing its end and the date was re-scheduled on January 31, 2010, thinking that we still have a chance to be one of those teams of the winning bid and samples for the shirts were given for evaluation. But unfortunately even though we have given 4 or more proposals but we just can't beat the other teams for their prices. Still winning the bid or not is not something for us to be disappointed because our minds and spirits are made-up to join Kuya Daniel's advocacy to be part in one of the biggest events of the year. Preparations have been crucial for everyone, registration forms where distributed and announcements were told in many forms. I wanting to get some free gift if I registered in the internet @ Sports37 Website that was also postponed. Hehehe, I still don't have money for the online registration.
